Terms of service

Read it, quote it with attribution, don’t attack the server. There is no warranty, and nothing here is professional advice.

What XT.PT is

An independent technical magazine published by RogerLe.com, covering AI, software, hardware and security. It is written first for its own editors rather than for an audience target, which is why it has no advertising and no subscriber funnel. Who writes it, how each story is verified, and exactly where the AI is involved are documented on the colophon.

Using the site

It is free to read, and there is nothing to sign up for. Link to it freely. Quote reasonably — a passage, with attribution and a link back — as you would any publication.

Please do not republish whole articles, attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site, or run automated collection heavy enough to degrade it for other readers. The wire, the feeds and the sitemap exist so that following the magazine never requires scraping it.

Copyright

Articles, reviews and original photographs are © RogerLe.com unless credited otherwise. Quoted material — vendor documentation, advisories, regulatory filings, changelogs — remains the property of whoever wrote it, and is quoted here for reporting and comment, with its source named.

What we promise, and what we don’t

What we do promise is on the colophon and we hold ourselves to it: every claim carries its evidence, corrections are published rather than quietly painted over, and no coverage is ever paid for.

What we cannot promise is that everything here is correct, or that it stays correct. Technology moves; a story is accurate as of its date and the sources it cites. Nothing on this site is professional advice — security, legal, financial or otherwise. Act on your own judgment or your own expert’s, particularly where a story describes a vulnerability, a configuration or a purchase.

The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. So far as the law allows, we are not liable for what you do with what you read here.

Writing to us

The contact form reaches the two editors directly. We never publish source identities, and a reply address is optional. Please do not send us material you are not free to share.

Changes

These terms change occasionally; the date above moves when they do.
